Washington’s Struggles Reach A Tipping Point

Maryland’s freshman quarterback Malik Washington has predictably had his share of issues against Big Ten defenses, but the UCLA game was the worst he’d played all season. Washington never really established a rhythm and for the first time this season finished with a sub-50 percent completion rate. He was 23 of 48 (48 percent) for 210 yards, a touchdown and a pick.
