Maryland saw its first de-commitment of the 2026 class Oct. 6 in St. Frances (Baltimore, Md.) high three-star cornerback Khmari Bing. The 6-foot, 185-pounder is coming off an official visit to Ohio State Oct .4; he chose to see the Buckeyes instead of taking in Maryland’s game against Washington. Alabama is also involved with the borderline four-star Bing.

Initially, Bing wanted to be a trendsetter, and August 5 he did just that by becoming Maryland’s first class of 2026 commitment.
