Local TE Williams Opts To Stay Home, Commits To Terps
Maryland added its third tight end and ninth overall commitment July 1 in local product Javonte Williams (Bullis/Potomac, Md.). The 6-foot-4, 220-pound high three-star chose the Terps over Pitt and NC State, all of which he officially visited in June.
“Maryland is home, and the coaches there really showed that they wanted me,” said Williams, who joins tight ends Damon Hall (St. Frances/Baltimore, Md.) and Brayden Marko (Gonzaga/Washington, D.C.) in the 2026 class.
