Former Austin Peay S/Nickel Edwards Transfers To Maryland

Maryland added a safety/nickel to its roster April 27 in Austin Peay transfer Gavin Edwards. The 6-foot, 180-pound rising redshirt sophomore took an official visit to College Park, Md., April 25-27 and gave head coach Mike Locksley his pledge following the foray. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

Edwards, an unrated recruit out of Timberland High (Saint Stephens, S.C.), played his first two years of college ball at Division II North Greenville.
