Former Western Carolina DT Moore Transfers To Maryland

Maryland added its third defensive-line transfer this offseason in former Western Carolina defensive tackle Edwin Moore. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound rising sophomore visited College Park, Md., in mid-April and then announced his commitment to UMD April 25.

Moore is coming off a season where he played in 12 games and started twice as a true freshman at WCU. He tallied 18 tackles, three tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and four quarterback hurries.
