ILB Wheatland Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland’s linebacker core took another significant hit April 16 when starting inside linebacker Caleb Wheatland elected to enter the transfer portal. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound senior has been a mainstay the last two years and was entrenched as the lead backer in the middle heading into 2025. Starting outside linebacker Kellan Wyatt chose to transfer from UMD a few days earlier.
