OT James Enters Transfer Portal
Redshirt sophomore offensive tackle Jayvin James transferred to Maryland from Akron back on Dec. 21, 2024, but less than four months later he’s back in the portal. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder, who was a projected starter at right tackle, made it halfway through spring practice before electing to leave College Park, Md.
At Akron, James started at right tackle in 2024 and graded out average in 186 run-blocking assignments and average in 311 pass-blocking assignments.
