PG Coit Transfers From Kansas To Maryland

Maryland added its fourth transfer this offseason in former Kansas backup point guard David Coit. The sixth-year graduate transfer, a no-star recruit who started his career at the junior-college level and then spent two years at Northern Illinois, has one year of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Columbus, N.J., native Coit is coming off a season where he played 15.5 minutes a night and averaged 5.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.5 steals in 34 games (three starts).
