F Washington Transfers From TAMU To Maryland

In an anticipated move, former Texas A&M forward Solomon Washington followed his head coach Buzz Williams to Maryland. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound rising senior from New Orleans, La., entered the transfer portal April 2 with a “do not contact” designation, and two days later he made his shift from College Station, Texas, to College Park, Md., official.

Washington, who has one year of eligibility remaining, spent three years at TAMU and served as a valuable rotational piece.
