COLLEGE PARK, Md. — When the Terps (23-7, 13-6 Big Ten) went into Evanston, Ill., back on Jan. 16 and watched as Northwestern forward Nick Martinelli drained a game-winning fadeaway baseline jump-shot with no time left in overtime, it left Maryland demoralized. It wasn’t just that Maryland lost one away game against a team it should have handled; it was the fact it was a fourth straight road loss to start the season.
