Maryland’s football staff was expected to undergo significant changes following a 4-8 campaign and a 1-8 showing in the Big Ten last year. So far, there have been five assistants who have been relieved of their duties or were not re-signed by head coach Mike Locksley.

Offensive line coach Brian Braswell was the first to be let go, and after that offensive coordinator Josh Gattis was not retained.
