COLLEGE PARK, Md. — In the span of four days, Maryland (16-5, 6-4 Big Ten) went from underachieving and maddeningly inconsistent to the conference’s upper-tier. The Terps rectified their road woes by going 2-0 against Illinois and Indiana in Champaign and Bloomington, respectively, and proved they could win a tight game in unfriendly conditions when they knocked off the Hoosiers, 79-78.
