Maryland Won On The Road And Beat A Ranked Team

Maryland Coach Kevin Willard has received his share of criticism the last couple years, and it only increased after starting this season 0-4 on the road to drop his away record to 6-21. So when his Terps traveled to Champaign, Ill., Jan. 23 to face a ranked Illinois team, it was almost a backs-against-the-wall situation for Willard and Co.
