Terps Looking To Build On UCLA Victory Against Struggling Minnesota

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland needed its point guard to bounce back after back-to-back subpar outings against Washington and Oregon, and Ja’Kobi Gillespie did that and then some Jan. 10 in a 79-61 win against UCLA. Returning to the friendly confines of the Xfinity Center, Gillespie sliced up a touted Bruins defense to the tune of 27 points on 7 of 13 shooting, 4 of 8 from 3 and 9 of 9 from the line, to go along with four assists.
