COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland has already played Ohio State and Purdue to open Big Ten play, but now comes the two-plus-month-long slog of games in the most physical conference in the country. All bouts are tough in this league, but the Terps (11-2, 1-1 Big Ten) will face a particularly challenging test right after the New Year. For the first time in the new-look league, UMD will travel across the country for a pair of games against former Pac-12 squads.
