In an expected move, redshirt sophomore quarterback MJ Morris elected to enter the transfer portal Dec. 27 after spending one year in College Park, Md. The move comes after UMD secured former UCLA signal caller Justyn Martin from the portal earlier in December.
Morris is coming off a season where he completed 36 of 61 passes for 350 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions.
