Unselfish, Defensive-Minded Terps Ready For Big Ten Play, Host UMES In Final Tune-Up

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Although the Terps have been playing well and don’t want to lose any momentum due to a lull in-between games, Coach Kevin Willard said the recent Christmas break was much needed. The Big Ten gauntlet, which starts Jan. 2 against Washington and goes through March 8, is relentless, so Willard said it’s imperative his players are rested and relatively healthy before it ensues.
