DL Thomas Transfers From Saint Francis To Maryland

The Terps need to replace their entire starting defensive line, and they took a step towards doing that Dec. 21 when redshirt freshman Eyan Thomas transferred in from Saint Francis (Pa.). The 6-foot-4, 336-pound nose tackle, who attended the same school as JACK Donnell Brown, visited College Park, Md., Dec. 20 and committed right after leaving campus.

Thomas briefly saw the field his first year in 2023, and last season recorded 35 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two pass defenses.
