The Terps lost three tight ends to the transfer portal this offseason, and Dec. 21 they took a step towards recouping those departures. Georgia State tight end Dorian Fleming visited College Park, Md., Dec. 20 and then announced his commitment to UMD a day later.
The 6-foot-3, 234-pound redshirt freshman from Henrico, Va., had a standout season for the Panthers, recording 49 receptions for 558 yards and six touchdowns. He was named second-team All-Sun Belt after the season.
