Syracuse isn’t a deep team to begin with, and without star guard JJ Starling, who is nursing a hand injury, the Orange have been lacking even more in terms of quality bodies and go-to scorers. The Terps took full advantage of that Dec. 21 as UMD dictated the pace, sped the Orange up, and eventually wore them down.
