WR Richards Enters Transfer Portal

Redshirt freshman receiver Josh Richards entered the transfer portal Dec. 16. The 6-foot-3, 181-pounder battled injuries the last two years and did not appear in any games for the Terps.

Maryland presented Richards (East Orange Campus/East Orange, N.J.) with his second overall scholarship offer in September of 2021, and during the next year he and ex-area recruiter Henry Baker and former receivers’ coach Gunter Brewer developed a rapport.
