TE Howard Enters Transfer Portal

Redshirt sophomore tight end Preston Howard elected to enter the transfer portal Dec. 13. The 6-foot-4, 236-pounder ascended to a starting role in 2024 and tallied 24 receptions for 189 yards. He also was a below average run and pass blocker, per Pro Football Focus.

The year before, in 2023, he played in all 13 games and tallied 13 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown. Howard did not appear in a game in 2022.
