CB Fisher Enters Transfer Portal

Redshirt sophomore cornerback Perry Fisher elected to enter the transfer portal Dec. 8, becoming the fourth UMD defensive back to do so this offseason. The 6-foot-3, 191-pounder ascended to a starting role in 2024 after showing promise at the end of the 2023 campaign, but he had significant struggles and bore the brunt of the criticism in regards to Maryland’s maligned secondary.

Fisher played in 11 games and saw 501 total snaps this season.
