WR Avit Enters Transfer Portal

Redshirt freshman receiver Ezekiel Avit elected to enter the transfer portal Dec. 8. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder caught one pass for 13 yards and played in eight total games during his two-year tenure in College Park, Md. Although he showed potential coming out of high school, Avit found himself buried on the depth chart and thus elected to move on from Maryland. 

Avit was a mid-level three-star out of Churchill High (Potomac, Md.) in the 2023 class.
