NT Phillips Declares For NFL Draft
Redshirt sophomore nose tackle Jordan Phillips declared for the NFL Draft Dec. 4. The 6-foot-3, 320-pounder played two seasons at Maryland after transferring in from Tennessee.
Last season, he tallied 29 tackles, one tackle for loss, seven hurries and six quarterback hits. He graded out average in run defense, tackling and pass rush, per Pro Football Focus. Phillips started the year strong, but his play declined late in the season. The year before, Phillips had 28 tackles and 1.
