Terps Move On From OC Gattis
As expected, Maryland will part ways with offensive coordinator Josh Gattis, who spent two years in College Park, Md. Gattis, who also coached receivers and quarterbacks, had his play calling duties stripped midseason, which for all intents and purposes signaled the eventual end of his tenure at UMD.
Gattis, who won the Broyles Award for the nation’s top assistant in 2021 at Michigan, was often criticized for his play-calling, unimaginative plays and his handling of game situations.
