Terps’ Bench Produces

Maryland Coach Kevin Willard said after the game the main goal was to get his second stringers extended minutes before Big Ten play began, and the Terps were able to do that against an inferior foe. UMD’s backups combined for 31 of the 96 points and ended up shooting 60 percent from the field.
