Maryland Football Recruiting
TE Husbands To Enter Transfer Portal
Fourth-year sophomore tight end Leron Husbands has been expected to transfer out of Maryland for a few years now, and Nov. 15 he did so, announcing his intentions to enter the transfer portal once it opens in December. The 6-foot-3, 246-pounder, who has battled injuries, was never able to ascend the depth chart at UMD and was recruited over shortly after arriving in College Park, Md.
This season, Husbands was behind Preston Howard, Dylan Wade and AJ Syzmanski in the pecking order.
