Developing Bench, Shooters Have Terps Encouraged As They Prepare To Host FAMU

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Terps’ Coach Kevin Willard promised shooters, and shooters Maryland may have. After a rocky Game 1 in which the new-look Terps were just 5 of 23 from beyond the arc, UMD found its stroke Nov. 8 against Mount St. Mary’s.

Maryland drained 9 of 23 triples (39.1 percent) en route to an 86-52 victory; Ja’Kobi Gillespie sank 3 of 4 from range while Rodney Rice canned 3 of 5 to lead the way.
