Terps Proud Of 'Gritty' Win, Continued Growth
COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland didn’t play its best game against Virginia, but thanks to a stellar second half in which the Terps (2-1) took a 180-degree turn on offense, defense and special teams, they still came away with a solid 27-13 victory in Charlottesville, Va. Naturally, Coach Mike Locksley wanted his team to put together a complete outing from beginning to end, although he found plenty of positives and apt teaching moments stemming from the first-half adversity.
