K Marshall Transfers To Maryland

Maryland is giving incumbent starting kicker Jack Howes a challenge as the Terps added a transfer booter from Oklahoma June 4. Redshirt freshman Gavin Marshall flipped his commitment from Vanderbilt to UMD after officially visiting College Park, Md., May 31-June 2 and informed head coach Mike Locksley of his decision while on campus. The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Marshall, who is from Frisco, Texas, spent one year with the Sooners before entering the transfer portal back in March.
