F Traore Enters Transfer Portal

A fifth Maryland player entered the transfer portal April 11 in sophomore forward Mady Traore. The 6-foot-11 native of Prais, France, transferred to UMD prior to the 2023-24 season and played in 12 total games. He scored a total of 16 points on 38 percent from the floor, while he added 14 rebounds. Traore’s best game came in a start against Ohio State when he played 20 minutes and scored a season-high eight points on 4 of 6 from the field and added five rebounds.
