WR Coach Brewer Leaves UMD For Va Tech

Maryland receivers’ coach Gunter Brewer has stepped down from his position-coach role to take an administrative job at Virginia Tech. Brewer, who spent two years in College Park, Md., will be the director of high school relations.

The 59-year-old Brewer is a coaching veteran known for his player development, and at Maryland he helped the likes of Rakim Jarrett, Dontay Demus and Jacob Copeland reach the NFL.
