PA DL Battles Opts For Maryland

Defensive tackle Braheem Battles (Central Catholic/Allentown, Pa.) only earned a Maryland offer in late January 2024, but the class of 2025 recruit has known the Terps for quite some time. Battles has been visiting College Park, Md., since his freshman year and has been in contact with defensive coordinator Brian Williams for more than a year.

So it really wasn’t an agonizing decision when the 6-foot-3, 325-pound three-star elected to end his recruitment early and commit to Maryland.
