Terps Hit The Road, Take On Reeling Badgers In Madison

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland (14-12, 6-9 Big Ten) acquitted itself well against No. 14 Illinois Feb. 17, and had every chance to sweep the season series and perhaps eke their way back into the postseason conversation. But the Terps fell just short against a loaded Illinois squad that also played well in an 85-80 affair that saw UMD give up 80-plus points for the first time all year.
