COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland’s offense has been operating at a near anemic level the majority of the 2023-24 season, and after consecutive losses to Michigan State and Rutgers in which UMD scored 54 and 53 points, respectively, they’ve hit Division I’s bottom rungs. The Terps (13-10, 5-7 Big Ten) are down to 191st in offensive efficiency, per KenPom, and sit second to last in the Big Ten in scoring; shooting; and perimeter shooting.
