Taking a look at Maryland’s 65-62 loss at Minnesota Jan. 7:

Reese Bounces Back, But Can’t Stay On The Floor

Maryland Coach Kevin Willard wanted his big man Julian Reese to be more assertive, and the junior was able to do that against a respectable Minnesota frontcourt. Reese was able to establish inside position in the first half against the likes of Dawson Garcia and the burly Pharrell Payne, and dropped in 10 points on 4 of 7 shooting and 2 of 2 from the line.
