COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland (9-4, 1-1 Big Ten) finished its non-conference schedule on a five-game winning streak, including an elusive road win against UCLA, and now comes the conference gauntlet where the Terps play 18 Big Ten games between Jan. 2 and March 10. It’s a chance for UMD to rewrite its season, which so far has been filled with fits and starts, and perhaps prove the preseason prognosticators. who picked the Terps to finish third in the league, correct.
