Local CB Jenkins Commits To Maryland

Maryland lost a cornerback pledge in Larry Tarver (Norland/Miami, Fla.), but the Terps quickly replaced him by signing local corner Judah Jenkins Dec. 20. The Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) three-star originally committed to Indiana over BC, Va Tech, WVU, Ole Miss and others, but he backed out on Dec. 3.

The Terps did not press for Jenkins initially, but when it became clear Tarver might be headed elsewhere they offered the nearby three-star defensive back.
