NC State QB Transfer Morris Commits To Maryland

Maryland found its potential successor to Taulia Tagovailoa Dec. 13 in former NC State quarterback MJ Morris. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound dual threat third-year sophomore, who has three years of eligibility remaining, committed to UMD after officially visiting Dec. 7-9. The Terps were the first team to reach out to Morris when he entered the transfer portal on December 4, and the two sides quickly connected and set up the quarterback’s first and only official.
