RB Brown Enters Transfer Portal

A ninth Maryland player has entered the transfer portal with former top recruit Ramon Brown electing to leave College Park, Md., Dec. 11. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound sophomore missed the majority of the 2023 season with an injury and had just one carry for 3 yards against Northwestern.

Brown looked the part of a potential elite back during his freshman campaign in 2022. As a rotational piece, he rushed 34 times for 122 yards, to go along with nine catches for 41 yards.
