CB Gibson Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland saw a third player enter the transfer portal Nov. 30 in sophomore cornerback Gavin Gibson. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder played in nine games in 2023 and tallied 15 tackles and two tackles for loss. But Gibson only played 119 total snaps and graded out poorly in coverage, per Pro Football Focus.

It was a disappointing development for the up-and-coming defensive back after a promising freshman campaign.
