OT Nonar Enters Transfer Portal

The Terps śaw a second player enter the transfer portal Nov. 28 in offensive tackle Ja’Kavion Nonar. The 6-foot-7, 280-pound redshirt freshman saw action in one game over two years. He played 13 snaps in 2023, grading out well enough as a run blocker but faring poorly in pass protection, per Pro Football Focus.

Nonar was supposed to ascend the depth chart and perhaps be ready to challenge for a starting spot at right tackle in 2024, but he did not develop as projected.
