Maryland’s offense is at its best when it’s playing fast and running in transition, and since UMBC tries to turn every possession into a track meet, it played right into the Terps’ hands. Up and down the two sides went, but the Terps had the bigger and better athletes and ended up getting the better of the Retrievers the majority of the time.
