COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The Terps (5-2, 2-2 Big Ten) went into their bye week with an acrid taste in their mouths following a letdown at home against Illinois, but Coach Mike Locksley said the mid-season break came at the perfect time. He said the team’s collective fundamentals had waned, and they needed a couple refresher practices to reinforce the minor details necessary to playing winning football.
