COLLEGE PARK, Md. — It’s been a decade since the last time Maryland and Virginia squared off, but fact remains the Terps have taken on the Wahoos more than any other foe in UMD history. That annual rivalry game, which dates back to 1919, resumes Sept. 15 in College Park for the first of a home-and-home series between the border schools. The Terps lead the series, 44-32-2, and won the last two meetings before leaving the ACC for the Big Ten.
“[Virginia is] a former ACC rival.
