OL Watkins Calls Maryland 'Dream School,' Commits

Maryland already had seven offensive line commitments in the 2024 class, but the trench-needy Terps decided to take an eighth Sept. 5. Under-the-radar local Davon Watkins (St. Mary’s/Annapolis, Md.) impressed the Terps’ staff during a camp performance back in June, and when the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder let Mike Locksley know he wanted to commit some two-plus months later, the headman complied.
