Terps Ready To Take The Next Step , Have B1G Title In Sight

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — It’s Year 5 of the Mike Locksley era at Maryland, and the Terps’ yearly finishes during that span bear out the program’s incremental progress. UMD has gone from a sub .500 team during Locksley’s first two years to a winning record in 2021 to an 8-5 mark in 2022. There have been fits and starts for sure, but there haven’t been any major regressions and Maryland seems to be in a better place than it was after the 2018 season.
