S Boone Announces Departure From Maryland

Maryland redshirt freshman safety Ray Boone, a mid-level three-star out of Roosevelt (Greenbelt, Md.) in the 2018 class, announced his departure from the university Aug. 23. The 6-foot, 203-pounder entered the transfer portal, thanking the Terps for the opportunity they gave him but adding that he wanted to explore other options. 

Boone redshirted his freshman year and did not get into a game.
