James Breaks Down Maryland Pledge

Keyari James grew up in Alberta, Canada, but instead of picking up a hockey stick and spending his free time on the ice, he readily took to American football. The now 6-foot-1, 235-pound inside linebacker dedicated himself to the craft, and became the top-rated linebacker recruit in Canada by his sophomore year of high school.

That’s when James decided he needed to try his talents in a more competitive arena.
